 After looking at the quote for quite some time, I came up with an idea in which I believe I can make the world a better place. My idea may be different from others but I think it would be essential to have different ideas in each person so everybody can be diverse and have the intent of making the world a better place.  For my idea, I believe that one way to help make the world a place is to always have impenetrable strength in your mind and to always keep a go-with-the-flow attitude. With this attitude and mental, it is tough to get torn down by losses and even harder to feel fake feelings of the little highs one may experience when doing something beneficial. This will help people around me, mainly because if they see that someone is not overreacting to a particular scenario, then they may realize that their behavior and reaction to a certain scenario is not necessary.   This fantasy football season has been nothing short of a disaster for me. Heading into the season, I had high hopes after what seemed like a solid draft. But from the very start, my team was plagued by injuries for key players. Week after week, it felt like I was losing another important player to an unexpected injury or watching someone underperform against even the easiest matchups. It’s tough to see the potential on my roster, only to be let down when Sunday rolls around and points are hard to come by. Every lineup decision has become a gamble, often not paying off as I'd hoped. Adding to the frustration, I’ve had players on my team who simply haven’t played up to their usual standards. It's weird to see players who were projected to be consistent point-scorers struggling to deliver even the basics.  As I wrap up  Invisible Influence: The Hidden Forces that Shape Behavior, written by Jonah Berger, I would like to point out some of the critical things I learned about specific reasons for my questionable actions. Overall, the main reason for me choosing the book was the title, and it seemed a bit lucrative in a way, which made me interested in learning more about it. I really enjoyed how the author expressed some hard truths that we have to come to accept for reasons that cloud our judgement on an everyday basis. It had a challenging love aspect to its chapters, which I also found interesting.  Toward the end of the book, there was a chapter on the fear of missing out, FOMO, if you will. As someone who is self-aware that they have FOMO in almost any situation, it was refreshing to see it all laid out in writing and what drives this nature.  For book number two I have decided to choose the option, The Science of Creating a Compassionate World, more specifically  Invisible Influence: The Hidden Forces that Shape Behavior . Even before reading the book I took interest into the title. The recent events with a variety of different conflicts between countries, within countries, and even personal, I looked at the title and thought, the world could really use this right now. One thing that I have always been taught at home is to have compassion and to always try to understand why people do what they do and try not to judge someone based off surface level actions or statements.  One goal that I have going into reading this is to try to develop different ways other than my current practices of being compassionate and understand the rules of what drives my actions and point out which rules are negatively effecting my life. The Up's and Down's of Fantasy Football Every Fall, it has become tradition between my friends and I to partake in a highly competitive race to see who will be first in our fantasy football league. This tradition started in 2021 and has grown ever since we started. The tradition starts out with a draft. It is not your usual draft that is taken online where you get to see the players stats.
